Problem gambling affects more people than the gambler. A fun pastime that becomes an unhealthy obsession can change your relationships with a spouse or children by diverting needed income away from mortgage or rent payments and placing everyone's lives in jeopardy. I will help patients stop gambling in California.
During the past 12 months, have you become restless, irritable, or anxious when trying to reduce or stop gambling? During the past year, have you tried to keep your family or friends from knowing how much you have gambled?
Have you lost more than two percent of your gross annual income because of gambling this past year? If you have answered "yes" to any of these questions, it may be time to seek help.
I am authorized by the California Department of Public Health, Office of Problem Gambling, to provide specialized treatments to help you stop or cut down on your gambling issues.
No Cost Sessions
I will help you identify the triggers, reasons, and urges behind your gambling, and together help you find a safe alternative to end your gambling problem. These sessions come at no cost to the gambler or the family affected.
